Grūps App v0.9.3 ships today with two focused improvements: a public-facing About page for every group, and a redesigned admin dashboard that surfaces the things admins actually need to act on.

Group About page

Every group now has an About page showing its description, rules, website, member count, and available features.

For non-public groups, admins can generate a tokenized preview link — a URL they can share with prospective members that lets them see the group's information before they decide to join. Admins can regenerate this link at any time.

The description, rules, and website are all editable directly from the About page without needing to go into group settings.

Redesigned admin dashboard

The admin dashboard has been simplified and made more action-oriented:

  • The dashboard now has two focused tabs — Communicate and Admin — replacing the previous three-tab layout. The Content tab has been removed to reduce clutter.
  • The Communicate tab surfaces Active Reservations, Most Bookmarked content, and Open Q&A Questions at a glance
  • Create buttons are clearer and more tappable
  • The Create → Event button now correctly opens the event creation form

Group setup and feature gating

  • The group creation wizard now requires at least one feature to be enabled before you can proceed
  • A new Launch step lets admins choose to make a group active immediately or keep it in setup mode while they configure it
  • Members who land in a setup-mode group now see a clear message rather than a broken page
  • Feature gating fixes: groups created with no features selected now correctly show no features in the sidebar and settings
  • Bookmarks are now gated to Basic+ (hidden for Free tier)

Bug fixes and accessibility

  • Fixed a crash when inviting a member from the Admin Dashboard
  • Accepting a group invitation from the notification bell now navigates correctly to the new group
  • Fixed event tier gating and dormant group read-only enforcement
  • Accessibility improvements across all new pages: ARIA labels, role attributes, and screen reader text
  • Full translations across all 12 supported languages for all new UI
