Admin Dashboard

Your command center for the group — create content, monitor activity, manage members, and access settings all in one place.

Overview

The Admin Dashboard is visible only to admins and co-admins. It gives you a consolidated view of what's happening in the group and quick access to the actions you use most.

The dashboard has three tabs:

Communicate Tab

The Communicate tab is your publishing hub. It combines a one-tap content creator with a live feed of recent group activity — so you can see what needs attention and take action without navigating through multiple sections.

Quick Create

The Quick Create strip at the top of the Communicate tab shows one button for each content type you can create. Only types whose features are enabled appear.

Content Sections

Below the Quick Create strip, each enabled feature has its own section showing the most recent or most relevant items. Sections only appear if the feature is enabled and there is content to show.

Each section shows up to 3 items. If there are more, a Show X more button appears. A See All link in the section header takes you directly to that feature's full page.

Announcements

Shows the most recent announcements. Each item displays the announcement type badge, a text preview, and how long ago it was created. Tap an item to open it.

Posts

Shows the most recently published posts. Each item shows the title, a short content preview, and timestamp. Tap to open the full post.

Active Polls

Shows currently open polls. Each item shows the poll question, status badge, and total vote count. Tap to open the poll.

Upcoming Events

Shows the next few calendar events. Each item shows the event date chip, title, and formatted time. Tap to open the event. A Go to Calendar button navigates to the full calendar.

Active Reservations

Shows events with open RSVP sheets, along with the confirmed reservation count. Tap to open the reservation sheet.

Most Bookmarked

Shows the group content that has been bookmarked most by members — a useful signal for what members find most valuable. Tap any item to navigate to it.

Q&A Open Questions

Shows Q&A subjects that have unanswered questions waiting for a response. Each item shows the subject title and the count of open questions. Tap to open the subject.

Empty sections are helpful too If a section is empty, it shows a prompt with a quick-create button — making it easy to kick off activity in features that haven't been used yet.

Admin Tab

The Admin tab organizes management tasks into three areas: Members, Settings, and (when applicable) a Danger Zone.

Members

Shows your total member count and two action buttons:

Danger Zone

The Danger Zone section appears only when the group is in Archived status and you have owner or admin rights. It contains a single action:

Moderate Tab

The Moderate tab appears on the Admin Dashboard when the Content Filter is enabled for the group. It gives admins and moderators quick access to content that needs review.

Pending count badge

When there are items waiting in the Moderation Queue, a badge showing the pending count appears on the Moderate tab. The badge updates in real time — no refresh needed.

Actions from the Moderate tab

See the Content Filter guide for a full explanation of filter settings, enforcement modes, and how to manage the queue.

Lifecycle Banners

When the group is not in its normal Active state, a banner appears below the dashboard header to inform you of the current status and what it means:

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can see the Admin Dashboard?

Only group admins and co-admins. Regular members do not see the Admin Dashboard — they see the standard group home page instead.

Can I choose which sections appear in the Communicate tab?

Sections appear automatically based on which features are enabled for your group. To hide a section, disable that feature in Group Settings → Features. Note that disabling a feature hides all of its content from members as well.

Where do I go to manage all content in one place?

The Communicate tab gives you a snapshot. For deeper management of a specific feature (e.g., editing or deleting old polls or posts), navigate to that feature's dedicated page using the See All link in the relevant section.
